FARLEY: Robert James (Rob)

After a short illness Rob passed away peacefully at Te Aroha Community Hospital on 5th December 2021. Best friend of Karon; loving father to Emma, Lydia and Davin; father in law to Hamish, Peter and Mechelle; loved grandad/poppy to Isabel and Angus; beloved son of Brian and Jean; big brother and brother in law of Bruce and Jo, Kathryn and Tony, Janet and George. We will celebrate Rob’s life on Friday 10th December at Manawaru Hall, 18 Shaftsbury Road, Manawaru at 11am. Interment will be at Greytown Cemetery on Monday 13th December at 11am. Due to numbers vaccine passes will be required. In lieu of flowers donations to Waikato Cancer Society cancer.org.nz would be appreciated. SIMONSEN: Barry Arnold

Peacefully passed away on the 1st December 2021 aged 85. Dearly loved Husband of Marg. Father and Father in law of Donna and Bryan, Shayne and Brylee, Dean, Craig (deceased), Natalie and Ewan. Grandad of Zak, Zaan, Cupar and Great Grandad of Jayda and Byron. Brother of Owen and Alison, Barbara, Jill and Jim, Christine and their families. Peacefully on November 30, 2021, aged 73 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Kevin.  Loved mother and mother-in-law of Dean (deceased) and Julie.  Sister and sister in law of Norma (deceased) and Alec, Shirley (deceased) and Murray, Heather and Gary (Butch) (deceased).  Loved Nanny of Kurt, Taine, Tayla and Brooke. Due to current Covid restrictions a private burial is being held.  A memorial service for Carol will be held at the Te Aroha RSA, Monday 20th December at 11am. Passed away peacefully at Country Lodge on Friday 26th November, surrounded by family after a short illness. Dearly loved wife of John and much loved mother and mother in law of Ruth, Peter and Joanne, Mary and David. Adored Gma of Oliver, Alice and Sam and GGma of Noah. A service to celebrate Joan’s life will be held at St Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, 22 Meura St, Matamata on Friday 3rd December at 11am. ROBINSON: Edwin Ray (Ray)

On 21st November 2021 passed away peacefully aged 93 years at Te Aroha Community Hospital. Loved husband of Barbara. Loved father of Denise, Shelley and Jeff, loved father in law of David. Loved grandad of 6, Alistair and partner Kaisha, Hayley, Cameron, Jedd, Zac and Kai and great grandad of Maisie Flora. In keeping with Ray’s wishes a private cremation has been held. A celebration of Ray’s life will be held on Saturday 27th November from 2pm at his home in Waihou.

Passed away peacefully, with family by her side, at Country Lodge. Dearly loved wife of the late Tom, and much loved Mum and Mother in law of Christine and Rob, Gaye, Mark and Tina, Rodger and Clare and adored Grandma of 13 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. A service to celebrate Colleen’s life will be held at the Matamata Club, Rawhiti Ave, on Tuesday, (Today)November 23rd, at 11.00am, followed by burial in the Matamata Cemetery. A celebration of Henry’s life and achievements will be held at the Matamata Memorial Centre, Tainui Street, Matamata on Monday 20th December at 1:30pm. All participants must show their Covid vaccine pass as per the Government regulation please. Face coverings are encouraged.

01/02/1941 – 11/11/2021. 80 good years – passed peacefully at home surrounded by his loved ones after a long, hard battle. Well loved and devoted husband to Ann and father to Richard and Sally, Beth and Paul, Steven and Lennie, Gavin and Lynnette. Cherished grandfather to all his grandchildren and GG to his great grandchildren. Will be greatly missed by all that knew him. He certainly left a positive mark on this world. Due to Henry’s wishes, he has been cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date, to be advised. A huge thank you to Leamington Medical Centre, our district nurses and Hospice for their support. A life well lived. Rest easy. Dearest Nana of Jeremy and Nerissa, Tim, Haylee and Toby, Riki, Jane and Grace, Corey, Trent, Katie, Archer and Andy, Jay, Ruby and Coco.

No longer in our lives to share, but in our hearts, you will always be there. May you rest in peace Mum.
